  • About Me
I come from a funny family. My paternal grandfather was always telling jokes. Every time we passed a cemetery he’d say, “You know people are dying to get in there.” Okay so they were corny jokes but at least he had a sense of humor. I have many happy memories of sitting around the dinner table with my parents, sister, and two brothers telling jokes and laughing. My siblings still crack me up.
In high school I liked art, dance, theater, and writing. I had to choose between becoming a starving artist, dancer, actor, or writer. Instead I went to college and majored in Mass Communications so I could become a starving newspaper reporter.
I raised two children as a mostly single mother. My kids both had a good sense of humor and I have a lot of fond memories of watching comedies and laughing together.
Despite the good times I’ve had my share of bad times as well, death, divorce, disease, and poverty. Through all the tragedy and adversity, I’ve relied on my sense of humor to help me overcome despair. My goal is to help others through their hard times by making them laugh or at least brightening their day.
Remember, "Laughter is the best medicine – especially since there’s no co-pay!"
